"And the day came when the pain it took to stay tight in the bud was greater than the pain in took to blossom." Anais Nin
For me that day is here! After years of doing what I thought was expected of me, what I was excellent at doing, I'm finally brave enough to step into my zone of genius and do what I'm brilliant at doing. And what a long and arduous climb that has been!
I have come to realize and fully embrace that my congruence is both my calling card and my currency. I now know, beyond a shadow of doubt, that my alignment exudes authenticity and allows me to connect with others and serve them with greater authority.
There is freedom is living in accordance and harmony with my gifts and purpose and the journey is far more joyful as a result. Finally, at midlife, I’m learning what it means to stay true to myself.
What about you? As you head into each new day, ask yourself whether you're showing up in your zone of excellence doing what you're great at OR thriving and flourishing in your zone of genius and brilliance?
For me, it has made all the difference. It's been so impactful that it's caused me to change my business model so that my entrepreneurship has become the ongoing manifestation of my genius. I don't know why it took me so long but I'm here now and I'm not going back.
I challenge you to step into what lights you up and stirs your soul. You are not the only one who will benefit from your bravery. We will, too. We, who have been waiting for you to step fully into your purpose, and finally life your life and run your business with vision, passion and purpose.
To your SAGE success!
